where do i start?

hi everyone,

i'm sure this question has been asked before, but i can't seem to

find the right thread. i'm basically a 100% pure newbie. if you can

point me to some articles, posts, books, etc... anything that will

help me understand all the basics first.

I would suggest that you take a look at the Learn tab. There you'll find quick start tutorials, data tutorials, a guided tour. Also video material with a serie of about 16 videos that teach you the basics.
